Freedom Park Donor Legacy Program
Paving the Future, Honoring Our Heroes
The USS Midway is proud to partner with the Port of San Diego in the creation of Freedom Park at Burnham Navy Pier—a unique, historic park dedicated to honoring veterans and their families. This stunning park will transform the landscape of San Diego Bay, and now, you have the chance to be a part of its legacy through the Freedom Park Brick Legacy Program.
Your commemorative brick will secure your place in history by being placed in the Parade Ground area, surrounding the iconic John Finn monument. This is a special opportunity to honor the heroes who have served and those who continue to serve.
How You Can Participate:
- Consider dedicating a brick in honor of a service member, your own personal service, the Midway, a loved one, or someone special to you.
- Bricks can be dedicated to anyone—not just service members.
- The bricks will be placed around the John Finn Monument in the Parade Ground, at the southeast end of the park.
- While the actual brick color may vary, each brick will be a lasting symbol of your support.
- A replica keepsake brick or plaque will be provided for you to keep as a personal memento.
- You will have 24 hours from the time of purchase to make any changes to the inscription by contacting our customer service team.
- The bricks will be professionally installed at the park, so no work is required on your part.
Project Timeline: Freedom Park at Burnham Navy Pier is expected to be completed by 2028, offering a permanent tribute to those who have served our country.
